Wed Day Nine

First, a foto or two from Monday.

Mamma Puss [Woody]  shifted the kittens to the bottom shelf.  The kittens were now on the floor.

They are still in the wardrobe, but able to explore the whole house.  "Good move!"  I thought.  She looks very comfortable.

Here are the kittens from Monday, day seven.

Today, Wednesday, Mamma Woody shifted them one more time, to a shelf standing on the bedroom.  More light, but connected to the rest of the house over a wooden lip.  But!!!  the kittens eyes are starting to open.

Here in this foto Ginger is opening her eyes.  She doesn't appear to be looking at anything, but that is not surprising.  There is nothing to see.  It will probably just be a blur anyway.

All the other kittens are "eeyes wide shut".

They are still crawling on their stomachs, but are making efforts to move around.  Mum is thinking about moving them back to the new den.

Both Tan at the top, and ginger at the bottom are using their front legs to hold themselves up.  Tiger Stripe and Blackie are flat on their stomachs still. [Thats girls for you!]

By this time next week we should see them getting out and about.  Cheers Chris the Pipemaker
